Fireclay bricks are a type of clay product made from aluminum silicate materials with an Al2O3 content of 30% to 40%. Their refractoriness is up to 1690 to 1730 degrees Celsius. The main mineral composition of fireclay bricks is kaolinite (Al2O3·2SiO2·2H2O), with impurities of 6 to 7%, such as potassium, sodium, calcium, titanium, and ferrous oxide.

 
Fireclay bricks are a slightly acidic refractory product that can resist acid slag and gas erosion.
